[UNIT2] POSITIONS THROUGH CONTEXTUALISING –2
START POINT:
Why do I have an interest in sounds?
Why do I want to study between sounds and graphics?
From the start, I re-consider the topic’s purpose and why I want to study this topic.
Here is the definition of Sounds -> Vibration that I find:

In the middle of the process, I realised I was originally interested in the power of sounds in places.

The wonder of sound consists in the fact that it fills space.
In this perspective, sound emerges as an effective tool for conveying the essence of holistic space, as it possesses the ability to immerse the viewer and evoke a profound sense of integration within the environment.
Expanding upon this notion, I extracted this enquiry:
Sounds affect people’s senses effectively. How can a visual communicator effectively engage with (or fill) various senses within a given space?

“I can hear with my knee better than with my calves.”
This statement made by Bernhard Leitner represents his study of the relationship between sound, body and space. Bernhard deeply studied the area between architecture and music and translated sounds into architectural elements that allow a space to emerge. Sounds move at various speeds through a space, rise and fall, resonate back and forth, and bridge dynamic, constantly changing spatial bodies within the static limits of the architectural framework. Sounds create audible spaces that can be felt with the entire body.

Then, I re-defined the triangle that my interest in sound. Rather than Simplify, I put the word Space here.

Let’s re-mentioned extracted enquiry :
How can a visual communicator fill the space with the viseral representation of sounds?
STARTING POINT :
Analysing sound before visualising.
There are two categories, which are Sound Pressure & Sound Vibration
Sound Pressure :

Then I decided to find the source of visualisation, so choosing the song I would visualise.
